Since 2005, I have been working in sound and helping film studios, directors and producers to sound their stories.
Sound designer
I can join the project at any stage of production, and help you find an appropriate sound, according to the genre, style and other preferences of your profect.
It is a common practice to develop the sound for an already shot and edited film or TV series, but I am keen to join your team even earlier, and develop a well-thought-through sound design based on the script. This can also include planning, scoping and recording of additional sound effects (either on location or in studio), as well as working with you during the picture editing.
Sound supervisor
I will take under control all the technical and creative sound tasks required for each individual project, as well as develop a schedule and estimates suitable for your production.
These include: organisation of all sound editing works, studio rentals, foley & ADR recordings, any additional recordings & editing.
Re-recording mixer
Our joint ideas will sound in high quality, in compliance with all the necessary technical requirements.
The experience gained over the years ensures that my mixes are equally good to listen to in a large theater in multi-channel formats, as well as on any home or mobile devices, in mono or stereo. Checked.
Experience & development
The technology and aesthetics of sound in cinema are constantly evolving and improving. As a professional, I am keen to keep up with the pace and develop according to new challenges.
My path in sound began in 2005 with a classical education at the «Theater and Art College №60» in Moscow, Russia. Studying there gave me experience in working with sound in various fields: radio, theater, cinema, advertising, concerts, acoustics. I wanted to develop my creative potential in the art of cinema. The best place for implementation was studying at «The Russian State University of Cinematography» (VGIK).
During my studies at the university and after graduation, I participated in various international projects in France, Brazil, China, Germany, the Czech Republic, learnt from my teachers and professionals from different countries.

Recent projects
Container
Container was released in September 2021 on START (Russia) and is an official selection of the 2021 MIP Drama Awards, 2021 Zurich Film Festival, Moscow Film Festival.
The sound team had full control over each component of the immersive soundscape - including multichannel music, unique sound design and a thorough dialogue edit. Exploring and developing the stylistic, narrative, and artistic direction of the audio resulted in each episode of the series feeling and sounding like a feature film.
This thorough approach also gave the production a complete set of M&E stems in the Dolby Atmos format in preparation for its international distribution. Container should have been released internationally on streaming services in 2022/23.
Bud moim Kirillom
Detailed soundscape, carefully selected atmospheres and foley, alongside professional mixing in a certified Dolby Premier Studio, helped the film to find its clear and nuanced sound in cinema theatres.
In addition to the surround sound mix, M&E tracks were prepared for further international distribution. This also included several stereo versions with different sample rates and loudness specifications for web and TV broadcasting, meeting all specified technical requirements. As a result, the audience can fully enjoy the film and its soundtrack regardless of where they are viewing it - in cinemas or at home.
257 reasons to live
A comedy drama with contrasts. Music hits, author's and selected music are harmoniously interwoven here.
“257 Reasons” were mixed in a 7.1 multichannel format to be shown on a big screen during the Canneseries 2020 festival.
The series are distributed in different countries by Betafilm. For these needs my team also provided M&E, supplemented with everything necessary for a full-fledged mix, repeating the soundtrack with the original voices.
Fitness
A popular Russian comedy consisting of 5 seasons (2018-2021) with never stopping dialogues and music. This combination requires constant monitoring and balancing between these components.
In order to achieve a greater effect of being in a sports environment, a unique library of sounds of training machines was recorded and compiled.
Mir! Druzhba! Zhvachka!
In this series film-artistry was sustained, which required an abundance of sound design, and striving for realism. In order to achieve such realism, thorough job with location and foley recordings was done during the editing and process. As the result, the narrative was very convincing, and met creators expectations.
